@miguel_silva_

@unopilates

Miguel Silva has been practicing Pilates for over 22 years and teaching for 20, after first turning to the method to resolve his own back pain and maintain long-term spinal health. From his studio in Almádena, Algarve, he has built a reputation for teaching with precision, discipline, and a respect for the body’s needs. His approach emphasizes essential, often underestimated work—such as breathing on the spine corrector—that restores balance and resilience over time. Guided by the belief that movement is a gift to be honored and enjoyed, Miguel channels this philosophy into every class, inspiring clients to embrace both challenge and possibility. He finds the greatest reward in witnessing the tangible benefits Pilates provides, transforming not only his clients’ bodies but their confidence and wellbeing. Dedicated to upholding the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ original method, Miguel continues to share the practice with authenticity, professionalism, and joy.

@marianopilates

@lartepilates

Mariano Dolagaray has devoted over 25 years to practicing Pilates and 20 years to teaching, earning a reputation as a “teacher of teachers.” Based in Panama, he co-owns L’arte Pilates International and serves as director of education at Classic Pilates Panamá. Trained under The legendS, Mariano shares his acquired wisdom in workshops across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. For him, Pilates is a continuous journey, not a collection of isolated exercises. Among its movements, the Tree on the Reformer embodies the essence of the method: a practice of rootedness, openness, and expansion. It cultivates not just physical strength and flexibility, but awareness, presence, and emotional clarity. Mariano guides instructors and students alike to understand Pilates as an art form, a tool for self-discovery, and a means to realize the body’s and mind’s true potential. His teaching bridges precision and intuition, helping others move with purpose, grace, and insight.
